Take Your Golf Clubs to a Salubrious Place

If you golf, do you try to take your clubs to a salubrious place at least once a year? You should. I recently brought my clubs to Mauritius, and I like to think that they enjoyed their visit to this island republic, especially their trip by boat to the spectacular Le Touessrok Golf Course on Ile aux Cerfs, part of the Le Touessrok Resort.

These custom-fit Mizuno MP-32 model irons have been to many nice places this year: Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia — but none more salubrious than Mauritius — Tamarina Golf Club, Anahita, and Le Touessrok. I also went to Paradis Golf Club and Golf du Chateau at Domaine de Bel Ombre, but didn't bring my clubs. The salubriousness of these past few days at Mauritius cannot be overstated. As I sit here at Thailand, now at the onset of the rainy season, looking out my window at a crepuscular afternoon, I cannot but remember the fulgent days at Mauritius. It was, in short, incandescent.

You will want to click on the links above, as there are some spectacular photos on the golf course websites. I hereby endorse travel to salubrious places.
