A Rakish Tour of Oregon

Rather than writing about the food (superb, healthy, and slimming) I ate on my recent trip, or pleonastically to describe the places I visited, this collection of photos will show the course of my week at Oregon. Consider these the outtakes, something different for a change.

The Oregon Coast is an addictive place, and I drove there twice, never quite getting the right size of coffee in the morning.

I won't mention any more about my current diet other than my continued recommendation to eat vicinal foods when possible (Rule #2 of the Tautologously Edacious Diet). If I am going to have dairy products, let me have them near the vaccary.

One can imagine how cold I felt at the Oregon Coast after spending much of my summer at Thailand.

The Bandon Dunes resort has grown a lot since my first visit there eleven years ago, but one thing that impresses me is the wildlife that still inhabit the property. On my walk to dinner, I saw deer and a porcupine.

They say that vertical stripes are slimming. So are waterfalls and creative (might we also say rakish?) facial expressions.

For that matter, let's call pink shirts slimming too.

Would you guess that I had just shot 24 in a hotly-contested match at Edgefield? Is this surprising restraint and composure the reason for my stellar golf play in 2009?
