February Golf Report

After a loss at mini-golf in January, I was determined to avenge myself in February, and so I did. Nathan Morrissette holed a wedge from 60 yards at Northern Rangsit Golf Club for an early birdie and lead in the match. I prevailed, though, with a spectacular back 9 that would be difficult to describe here. Suffice it to say that I birdied the 10th and won handily. The Jurassic 150 yard markers helped (see below), as I was able to choose my short irons with uncanny precision.

The fine play carried over to a match with borrowed clubs over the rolling fairways of Hong Kong Golf Club’s Old Course. I started slowly but finished strong, beating Chris Chase on his home course by birdieing the 15th (really) and 16th (conceded) to close out the match.
