Hotels with a view don't come much better than this

Last week I had a chance to stay at the Onyria Palmares Beach House Hotel. I don’t often have the chance to stay at such a nice hotel. The views were so good, and as the light changed I often found myself wandering back to the balcony of my room to take another picture. This is the pool, as seen from the restaurant.

The restaurant had a focused menu with local items. I enjoyed the lamb chops, and for dessert had a large piece of carob pie.

In the evening, the shadows moved across the golf course and I waited on the balcony to catch a picture of the passing train from Lagos to Faro.

Looking to my right, I could see Lagos with its beach and cliffs.

In the morning, I was back out on my balcony to take a photo of the new color across the sea.

The golf course is pretty nice too. I was impressed.
