This wasn't on my radar

I wasn’t expecting to find my next potato chip flavor in the ice cream section. I walked into a convenience store a couple weeks ago and glanced at the freezer to see if I spotted any new flavors. I’m usually looking for something with peanut butter, which doesn’t happen often in Thailand.¹ Then the familiar Lay’s logo caught my eye. But it was in the freezer. I looked again. Yes, this was real.

I enjoyed this. It’s crispy and crunchy and salty and a little sweet. Noticeably fewer calories than a bag of crisps too. Practically a health food. I had another a few days later.
