What Makes Us Happy?

What makes us happy? That is always a good question to ponder, and one that I hope you know the answer to. If you don’t, perhaps this recent article from The Atlantic or a perusal of Stumbling on Happiness would be in order.

I am partial to my work, deltiology, fountain pens, and Charles Dickens. Who would have thought that deltiology would be the world’s third largest hobby? Perhaps I should take up something more obscure.

I would not consider myself a true deltiologist per se. Although I am an inveterate purchaser of postcards, I always do so with the purpose of sending them. However, as the number of postcards I purchase tends to exceed the number I post, I am left with a pile of picture postcards at my place.
